Summary
This study looked at whether mental training could lower stress in anesthesiology residents before they perform epidural pain relief for childbirth. 32 residents were split into two groups: one received mental preparation, the other did not. Their stress levels were measured before and after the procedure using a standard anxiety questionnaire.
