First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether doing simple mental math (like adding or subtracting numbers) before walking can help stroke survivors move faster and keep their balance better. Seventeen participants will either do math problems or rest before walking. The goal is to see if this 'brain warm-up' improves walking speed and stability.
