First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study connects health records, insurance data, and jail records to better track and help people at risk of suicide who move between hospitals and the criminal justice system. Researchers will follow over 1,000 adults to see if better data sharing can reduce suicide attempts and improve mental health care. The goal is to save lives by coordinating care across these separate systems.
