NCT ID NCT06564948

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026

Summary

This study connects health records, insurance data, and jail records to better track and support people with mental health crises who move between hospitals and the criminal justice system. Researchers will follow over 1,000 adults with past police contact to see if better data sharing can reduce suicide attempts and improve care coordination. The goal is to lower the national suicide rate by addressing a major gap in how these systems work together.
