Scientists probe how monthly hormone changes rewire your brain

NCT ID NCT07180654

Summary

This study aims to understand how natural hormone changes during the menstrual cycle affect the brain's ability to adapt and change (plasticity) in healthy young women. Researchers will compare these effects to those in men using safe, non-invasive brain stimulation techniques. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about sex differences in brain function, not to treat any condition.
