First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) helps liver function and reduces fatty liver in postmenopausal women. 44 women were split into two groups: 22 received MHT and 22 did not. After 6 months, researchers measured liver fat, enzymes, and fibrosis risk using blood tests and ultrasound. The goal was to see if MHT leads to healthier livers.
