Summary
This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect against four major strains of meningococcal disease, a serious and sometimes deadly bacterial infection. It will involve about 1,602 healthy children and adolescents in China to see how well their immune systems respond and to monitor for any side effects. The new vaccine is being compared to currently licensed meningococcal vaccines.
