Summary

This study tests whether memantine hydrochloride, a drug typically used for Alzheimer's, can help control advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments. Fifteen men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer will take the drug alongside their usual therapy. Researchers will track how long the cancer stays under control and monitor PSA levels.
