Summary

This study tests whether adding melatonin to usual treatment helps people with bipolar disorder have more stable moods. About 200 adults will take either melatonin or a placebo daily for 6 months while tracking their mood on a phone app. The goal is to see if melatonin can reduce mood swings and improve sleep without causing serious side effects.
