Summary
This study tests whether adding melatonin to standard treatment helps people with bipolar disorder have more stable moods. Two hundred adults with bipolar disorder will take either melatonin or a placebo daily for six months. The main goal is to see if melatonin reduces daily mood swings, with sleep quality and depression also tracked.
