First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether melatonin, a natural sleep hormone, can prevent kidney injury caused by the antibiotic vancomycin. The goal is to see if melatonin reduces the risk of acute kidney injury without interfering with the antibiotic's effectiveness.
