Summary
This study is testing a new gel containing melatonin to help treat moderate gum disease (periodontitis). The gel is placed directly into infected gum pockets to see if it helps the gums heal and reattach to the teeth. The trial will involve 60 healthy adults who have this specific stage of gum disease.
