Summary
This study tests whether adding a 1064nm laser to a standard depigmenting cream can improve melasma and reduce its return. Thirty adults with moderate to severe melasma will apply a depigmenting cream to their whole face and receive laser on one side of the face every other week for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the laser-treated side has better results at 24 weeks.
