New vaccine booster shots tested to supercharge melanoma treatment
NCT ID NCT04079166
Summary
This study is testing whether adding one of two experimental cancer vaccines (SCIB1 or iSCIB1+) to standard immunotherapy drugs can improve outcomes for people with advanced, inoperable melanoma. The goal is to see if the vaccines help patients respond better to treatment and keep the cancer under control for longer. The trial will enroll 173 adults who have not yet received systemic treatment for their advanced disease.
