Second chance: chemo may help immunotherapy work when it failed before
NCT ID NCT04225390
Summary
This study tested whether giving a chemotherapy drug (dacarbazine) first could help patients whose advanced melanoma did not respond to standard immunotherapy. After chemotherapy, patients tried immunotherapy again. The goal was to see if this two-step approach could control the cancer in people who had run out of other options.
