Melanoma study digs deep into immune cell reactions to drug combos

NCT ID NCT07223411

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system responds to two different drug combinations in people with advanced melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread. Researchers will analyze immune cells from tumor samples and blood to compare the effects of the treatments. The goal is to better understand which immune responses are triggered, not to directly treat the disease. About 20 participants will provide extra biopsies and blood draws beyond their regular care.
