Fat-immune cell crosstalk could forecast melanoma danger

NCT ID NCT07293598

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the way fat cells and immune cells interact in melanoma skin cancer can help predict if the cancer will spread. Researchers will examine tissue samples from 20 patients to see if certain patterns are linked to more aggressive disease. The goal is to better understand the cancer's behavior, not to test a new treatment.
