Summary
This study tests whether a hands-on workshop—including a guided supermarket tour and a cooking class—can help adults over 60 stick to a Mediterranean diet. The Mediterranean diet is linked to lower risk of heart disease and other chronic illnesses. Two hundred retired or pre-retired participants will be split into two groups; one gets the workshop plus a general nutrition talk, the other only the talk. After 3 months, researchers will measure diet quality, physical activity, sleep, and thinking skills.
