First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looked at whether teaching pregnant women about the Mediterranean diet could lower harmful molecules called reactive oxygen species and boost antioxidants. 80 healthy women in their first trimester took part, with some getting online diet advice and others none. The goal was to see if diet changes could reduce oxidative stress and help prevent pregnancy complications.
