First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a Mediterranean diet and more physical activity could improve heart health in 150 women who finished breast cancer treatment and are on hormone therapy. The women learned about healthy eating and exercise, and researchers tracked changes in weight, waist size, blood pressure, and cholesterol. The goal was to lower the risk of heart problems that can be linked to long-term hormone therapy.
