NCT ID NCT07106567
First seen Jul 20, 2026 · Last updated Jul 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether teaching people with high blood pressure about the Mediterranean diet can help lower their blood pressure and improve their quality of life. About 70 adults with hypertension will either receive diet education or standard care, and their progress is tracked over three months. Researchers measure changes in diet habits, blood pressure, stress, and overall well-being.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- Mediterranean diet education
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could offer a simple, non-drug way to help people with high blood pressure improve their health and daily life.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, short-term study (70 people, 3 months). Results may not apply to everyone, and diet changes can be hard to maintain long-term.
