First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app called Healthy Minds Program can reduce depression in teens aged 14 to 19 who have moderate to severe symptoms. About 200 participants will use the app for 20 weeks, and researchers will track changes in depression, anxiety, and overall well-being. The goal is to see if meditation training delivered through a phone can be an accessible way to ease depression.
