Can a simple prompt before your Doctor's visit change your medications?

NCT ID NCT07281131

Summary

This study tests whether sending patients information about their medications before a doctor's appointment helps improve prescribing decisions. It will involve 1,700 patients aged 65 and older at Brigham and Women's Hospital primary care clinics. Researchers will send some patients a prompt about evidence-based medication targets (like starting a statin or stopping a high-risk medication) before their visit and compare outcomes to patients who receive usual care.
