First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using educational media (like TV shows or apps) together with a caregiver can help children ages 3 to 5 learn early reading skills. About 450 children and their caregivers will be split into three groups: one using media, one reading storybooks, and one doing nothing new. The goal is to see if media-based activities are more fun and easier for families, leading to better literacy over time.
