First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested a wound ointment called MEBO on people with venous leg ulcers, which are slow-healing sores on the lower leg. The goal was to see if MEBO helps the ulcer heal completely within 8 weeks compared to standard care. Only 5 people took part, so results are very early and not conclusive.
