Summary
This study tested whether a topical ointment called MEBO could help heal diabetic foot ulcers better than standard wound care. Seven adults with long-standing foot ulcers participated in this small pilot trial. Researchers compared MEBO ointment against standard treatments over eight weeks to see which helped wounds heal completely.
