Summary
This study tests whether smartphone location data can give early warning of mood episodes and social withdrawal in veterans with bipolar disorder. Researchers will track 200 veterans for 14 weeks using a phone app and interviews. The goal is to create algorithms that alert patients and doctors days in advance, allowing for timely treatment adjustments.
