Hope for kids with tough TB: new drug combo under study

Summary
This study is testing a medicine called bedaquiline, given together with other TB drugs, in children and teens (from birth to under 18 years) who have multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) of the lungs. The goal is to see how safe the drug is, how the body processes it, and whether it helps fight the infection. About 60 participants will take the drug combination and be monitored for side effects and treatment success.
