Summary
This study is testing whether MDMA-assisted therapy can help new mothers who are struggling with both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and opioid addiction. It will involve 15 participants who are 6 to 12 months postpartum. The goal is to see if this therapy is safe and feasible for this group, and if it can reduce PTSD symptoms and opioid use while improving the bond between mother and baby.
