New combo aims to cut opioid use after spine surgery

Summary

This study tests whether giving three drugs together during complex spine surgery can lower pain and reduce the need for strong opioid painkillers afterward. About 248 adults having surgery on three or more spine levels will take part. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage post-surgery pain.
