Summary
This was an early safety study of an oral medication called MB-001, which is being developed for ulcerative colitis. The trial tested the drug in 48 healthy volunteers to see if it was safe and how the body processed it. Participants received either the drug or a placebo (a dummy pill) in single or multiple doses and were closely monitored for side effects.
