Summary
This study tests whether mazdutide, a drug originally developed for other conditions, can help people with alcohol use disorder drink less. About 300 adults with current alcohol use disorder will receive either mazdutide or a placebo for several weeks. Researchers will track changes in drinking behaviors using a detailed questionnaire.
