New study tests two devices for fixing overbite without braces
NCT ID NCT06308640
First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026
Summary
This study looks at two different bone-supported devices (Fast Back and modified Leaf Spring Self-Activated Expander) to see which works better for moving upper molars backward in adults with Class II malocclusion (overbite). Twenty Egyptian participants with full permanent teeth and good oral hygiene will have their teeth measured using 3D X-rays. The goal is to find out which device is more effective for correcting the bite without needing tooth extractions.
