Summary

This study tested a 30-week course of the drug mavacamten in 38 Japanese adults with a specific heart condition called symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). The goal was to see if the drug could safely improve symptoms, physical limitations, and how well the heart pumps blood. Researchers measured changes in heart function, blood markers, and participants' quality of life over the treatment period.
