NCT ID NCT07220746
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding working memory training to math tutoring helps first graders who struggle with math more than tutoring alone. About 300 children from Nashville schools will take part. They will be split into three groups: one gets math tutoring plus memory games, another gets math tutoring plus reading practice, and a third gets regular school math. The goal is to see if improving memory also improves math skills and vice versa.
