Summary
This project aims to improve health outcomes for pregnant people and their babies by connecting them with community health workers, doulas, and local services. It focuses on addressing social needs like safe housing, food security, and transportation that can affect pregnancy health. The program will be tested in six prenatal clinics across Rhode Island, involving up to 3,000 participants, to see if it reduces serious complications and health disparities.
