Summary
This study tests whether training local community groups to provide health and nutrition counseling can improve the well-being of pregnant women and their children in northwest Ethiopia. About 700 women will receive either standard care or extra home visits from these trained groups. Researchers will measure if this approach increases use of health services, reduces depression, and improves nutrition.
