First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether training local community support groups to provide health and nutrition counseling can improve the well-being of pregnant women and their children in northwest Ethiopia. About 700 pregnant women will either receive this extra support or standard care. Researchers will measure if the program leads to better use of health services, less depression, and improved nutrition for mothers and kids.
