Summary
This study tested a program of psychological interventions for mental health issues in people with Parkinson's, such as anxiety, depression, and thinking problems. The program was designed to be delivered by non-experts and included booklets for participants. 138 people with Parkinson's took part, and the study measured changes in anxiety, depression, quality of life, and coping. If successful, the program could be made available across the UK to improve access to mental health support.
