Pen-Sized scanner could help surgeons remove tumors more accurately

Summary
This study tests a handheld device called the MasSpec Pen to see if it can tell the difference between tumors and healthy tissue during surgery. About 60 people with MPNST or neurofibroma will take part. The goal is to help surgeons remove all the tumor while saving as much normal tissue as possible.
