Tool vs. hands: which therapy works best for new knees?

NCT ID NCT07361770

Summary

This study compared two physical therapy techniques to see which helps people recover better after total knee replacement surgery. It involved 50 adults aged 40-60 who had the surgery for severe arthritis. Researchers tested whether a special tool-assisted massage or a deep cross-fiber hand massage was more effective at reducing pain and improving knee movement.
