First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looked at whether classical massage can reduce pain and improve daily life in people with myofascial pain syndrome, a condition causing muscle knots and radiating pain. Sixty adults aged 30-50 with persistent neck and arm pain took part. Researchers compared massage alone versus massage plus standard physiotherapy to see which worked better.
