First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tested whether a neck massage program, based on a caring model, could help people with epilepsy feel more confident managing their condition, reduce their symptoms, and lighten the burden on their caregivers. 96 adults with epilepsy and their caregivers took part. The massage group received neck massages three times a week for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in self-efficacy, symptom burden, and caregiver stress using standard questionnaires.
