First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a specific massage technique (manual lymphatic drainage) to standard physical therapy helps people regain knee movement faster after knee replacement surgery. About 44 adults who had knee replacement took part. The massage aims to reduce swelling and pain, which might help the knee move better sooner.
