First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study aims to improve how we find and manage a common liver condition called MASLD in children aged 7 to 11 who are overweight. Researchers will test if measuring waist-to-height ratio is a good, low-cost way to screen for the disease. They will also create a lifestyle program involving school, home, and community support to help children lose weight and improve liver health. The goal is to control the disease without medication.
