Summary
This study aimed to understand how a drug called maribavir is processed by the body in healthy Japanese volunteers compared to Caucasian volunteers. It involved 24 healthy adults and tested single doses of the drug to measure its levels in the blood and check for side effects. The goal was to gather early safety and dosing information for future research.
