First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding breathing exercises to standard manual therapy helps people with rotator cuff impingement syndrome, a common cause of shoulder pain. 52 adults with shoulder pain were treated with manual therapy alone or combined with breathing exercises. Researchers measured pain, disability, shoulder range of motion, and lung function to see if the combination offered extra benefits.
