First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding breathing exercises to standard manual therapy (hands-on treatment) can reduce pain and improve shoulder function in people with rotator cuff impingement syndrome. Fifty-two adults with shoulder pain participated. Researchers measured pain, disability, range of motion, and lung function. The goal was to see if the combination works better than manual therapy alone.
