First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a specific sequence of manual therapy (like massage) can change how your autonomic nervous system works. The autonomic nervous system controls things like heart rate and stress response. The study will involve 96 healthy adults aged 18-65, and will measure heart rate and other signs of nervous system activity before and after the therapy. This is a research study to understand the effects, not a treatment for any disease.
