Summary
This study tests whether teaching pregnant women in Kenya how to farm and providing them with supplies like seeds and irrigation pumps can reduce food shortages and improve health for both mothers and their babies. 410 pregnant women, half living with HIV, will be randomly assigned to receive the farming program right away or after the study ends. Researchers will track baby growth, birth weight, and household food security for up to a year after birth.
